By downloading, installing, or using TrendScout, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of the Service

TrendScout is a Windows desktop app by Dayscent that helps users discover trending YouTube videos, create 9:16 short-form clips, generate metadata, and upload or schedule videos to the user's own YouTube channel.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you process, create, upload, or schedule with TrendScout. You must have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any content you use. You must comply with the YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube Community Guidelines, copyright law, and all applicable laws.

You may upload only to your own channel or a channel you are authorized to manage. You may not use TrendScout for unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive activity.

Intellectual Property

Dayscent and TrendScout retain ownership of the app, brand, design, software, and related materials. We do not claim ownership of your videos, captions, thumbnails, metadata, or other user content you create or process with the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TrendScout is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that any generated content will achieve a particular result, ranking, view count, or revenue outcome.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dayscent will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, content, revenue, or business opportunities arising from your use of TrendScout.

Third-Party Services

TrendScout integrates with third-party services such as Google and YouTube. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, policies, and API rules. Dayscent is not responsible for third-party service availability, decisions, restrictions, quotas, or changes.

Termination

You may stop using TrendScout at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or related services if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, or create legal, security, or operational risk.

Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TrendScout after changes means you accept the updated terms.
